Yvonne Arceneaux (March, 1947—) is currently the senior member of the Compton City Council.
Biography
Born Yvonne Kelley, she is a native Californian. On June 19, 1965 she married Herbert V. Arceneaux. She and her husband have lived in Compton since the 1970s.
Arceneaux was elected to the Compton City Council in 1993. Representing the Third District, she's now serving her fourth term. No one except Jane D. Robbins has served longer.
